Founder & CEO · President of EMPPA
Tahsin Dag
“The future of industrial materials is decided not in the lab, but in scaling.”
Tahsin Dag founded PAPACKS in Cologne in 2013 and leads the company as CEO. His focus: standardization, modularization and scalability — from the in-house tool shop and raw material and coating technologies to the international licensing program.
In 2022, he co-founded the European Moulded Pulp Producers Association (EMPPA), and as its President he represents the European molded fiber industry to policymakers and regulators. In 2024, European CEO magazine named him “CEO of the Year” in the packaging industry.
