This makes PAPACKS one of 9 outstanding companies that symbolize the structural change of the federal state towards a future-oriented business location in an exemplary manner.

The consumer industry is under pressure: consumers want less plastic and the government is threatening a plastic tax. Tahsin Dag likes to compare himself to Elon Musk and even calls his factory the "Gigafactory". The only difference is that he makes yogurt pots there and not electric cars. The 39-year-old is burning with ambition and wants to change an established industry with his company Papacks: the packaging and food industry.

In cooperation with the Deutsche Gesellschaft für internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ), a total of 16 entrepreneurs were able to take part in the School of Sustainability & Green Innovations for the first time. Among them were entrepreneurs and politicians from Jordan who traveled over 4,000 kilometers to take part in the sustainability workshop.

The fifth largest cinema in Germany, the CINEDOM in Cologne, is a pioneer in the use of environmentally friendly nacho trays, Made in Germany by PAPACKS, saving over 1.25 tons of plastic per year. A prime example that invites all cinemas to join in and avoid single-use plastic in cinemas!

Together with cosmetics giant COTY® and premium bottle manufacturer HEINZ-GLAS, PAPACKS® has developed cast fiber transport packaging that has exceeded the expectations of its partners/customers.
